Cancer-fighting Steamed Fish Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 whole white pomfret or 200 grams fish fillet
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger juice
- 1/2 teaspoon miso
- 2 inches young ginger, sliced thinly
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
- 2 shitake mushrooms, sliced thinly
- 1/2 tomato (optional), chopped
- 1/2 red chilli (optional), seeded and cut into strips
Method
- Season fish with ginger juice and miso and set aside to marinade for about 10 minutes. Place fish on a plate for steaming.
- Sprinkle the rest of the ingredients and spread them out on top of the fish.
- Add water in steamer and bring to boil. Place fish in the steamer and steam for about 10 minutes. Remove and serve immediately.
